Who We Are

HFP President, Bret Pahwul, founded Harbor Financial Partners in 2012, having fifteen years of cumulative experience in the finance and insurance industries- garnering insurance experience at both national and local companies. Bret is adept in all aspects of insurance solutions, with extensive knowledge and experience in personal & commercial lines, as well as life & health insurance. A Sag Harbor native, Bret is an active volunteer for local non-profit organizations including: serving as Have A Heart Community Trust’s Board President and the Secretary of the Bridgehampton Lion’s Club. Bret holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Stony Brook University. He lives in Sag Harbor with his wife, young daughter, and two rescue dogs.
